Number of participants: 2 young people(boys or girls) between 18 – 25 years old; one young people with disability who can be accompanied by an assistant and one young person without disabilities, that can have fewer opportunities(from financial, social, health point of view, she/he is part of minority, is living in a remote area, etc.)
Activities: primarily focused on the cultural and social integration of different social groups, education and different artistic and culinary activities, gardening, etc. The volunteers will be involved in the implementation of the programs of the hosting organisation, they will participate in the implementation of European projects. They will learn more about the field of tourism and organization of cultural and educational events.
The EVS will take place in Ars Viva Institute that was established as a non-profit organization that operates in the public interest and in the public welfare. There are signed many experts from various fields: disabled people, artists, publishers, experts for art history and cultural heritage, social work, environmental protection, planning and management, theater, … Institute Ars Viva is located in the village Podcerkev and the municipality Loška valley. This is one of the most beautiful valleys of Notranjska, which consists a central part of Slovenian territory, whose center is Postojna. Unspoiled nature with lake Cerknica, Snežnik forests, one of the most beautiful caves – Križna cave, Snežnik castle, provides an opportunity for young people to be aware of the importance of health protection, social work, culture, getting in touch with the local population, education, work with people with disabilities, etc. The work of our institute is primarily focused on the cultural and social integration of different social groups at homeland and abroad. Here are present different genres of art such as painting, music, creating with clay, wood, sculpture, architecture. Within our programs we organize: expert thematic meetings, educating youngsters in schools about disability, painting with mouth, natural and technical days, promotion of good practices, providing advice and support to schools and local authorities.
The volunteers will be involved in the implementation of the programs of the hosting organisation, they will participate in the implementation of European projects. They will learn more about the field of tourism and organization of cultural and educational events.

Conditions: – priority will be given to volunteers between 18 – 25 years old; – knows English at least at beginer level; – the volunteer will buy his/her international travel ticket and he/she will get reimbourse 90% up to 275 euro/person; – the volunteer will have free lodging, meal, local transport for the project, health insurance, mentor, pocket money (85 euro/month) – no participation fee. The selection will be made by the Slovene organisation based on the CV and motivation letter, both in English.
