The Project Socio Naüm, in the neighborhood of Son Roca, arises in 2000 driven by the congregation of the Sisters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul, to cover needs identified in the district.
The project objective is to support children / as and young of the neighborhood to encourage their development in all areas of their lives, influencing their academic training and social integration, personal development and healthy habits.
What job would perform? The program of school reinforcement (educational corner) would be dedicated to give support to children / as with their homework, or educational activities performed in the classroom (thinking games, board games, etc). • The summer school is devoted to all kinds of healthy leisure activities, the summer months are performed (July and August from Monday to Friday mornings). • It also would make a bureaucratic administrative part, consisting of filing any documents or information regarding the users and the activities carried out with them. (1 week day) During the process, they will receive the support necessary training, the start will receive a basic initial training in educational intervention, and during their spaces to be responding and resolving any difficulties they may encounter in their daily lives will be created. What schedule would perform? At first the program for recreational and corner schedule would be: – Monday to Thursday evening 16-19 hours. – Friday morning from 9 to 13 hours. – Saturday and Sunday: Free. As for the summer school, the morning hours are: – Monday to Friday from 9 to 14.30. – Saturday and Sunday: Free.
We are looking 2 volunteers for the project with knowledge and experience in the field of educational intervention. A volunterr dynamic , wanting to get involved and participate in healthy recreational and leisure activities.Basic knowledge of Spanish will be an advantage. Finally, if you have experience in the sports, artistic level, body language, etc.will be highly valued to apply this knowledge in workshops with children / as and young people.
