Established in 2002, Morena Association is a non-profit non-governmental organization in Gdansk that focuses mainly on young people and youth leaders from Pomeranian region. We have different aims for our activities:
We increasing the activism in social and civic life of children, youth and youth leaders (e.g. by organizing meetings with youth in their schools).

The volunteer (1) will work with different target groups: local community, seniors,
kids, young people, scouts, volunteers.
– support in managing the daily tasks and events of Stowarzyszenie Morena;
– support in coordinating the activities that will take place in the Gdańsk Youth
Center;
– organization of workshops for the local community(topic: ecology, recycling,
hand-made, healthy nutrition, environmental and energy policy of the EU, the
EU eco-label, environmental protection, renewable energy sources, how to
protect climate, how to reduce food waste, health of body and soul, the
principles of ecology in the household, Nordic walking, yoga etc)
– organize series of meetings with regarding Tri-City NGOs topic: eco-friendly
and good for the environment mode of working;
– organize a mini-campaign to promote a healthy lifestyle, use of
environmentally friendly means of transport etc.
– organize series of meetings with the youngest in the context of ecological and
environmental education;
– support in organizing and handling European lessons in schools;
– provide language lessons;
– support in short, specific tasks/project our local partner organizations;
– organization of the evaluation materials for the participants of his/her
activities;
– Writing blog articles and updating EVS Facebook page by telling his/her own
stories, the stories of volunteers and projects from the area;
– Suggesting and realizing his/her own ideas.
