Cultural long-term EVS position is open in Marseille!
Cinémémoire is a cinémathèque which collects amatorial home movies focusing on Marseille, its region and the former French colonies. Its mission is the protection of the audiovisual heritage as well as its promotion and development of a debate about its role in the structuring of a collective identity. Cinémémoire organizes many projects which use audiovisual archives as a tool for pedagogical activities (filming workshops in schools, educational trainings, movie debates) and artistic re-appropriation of the past (cine-concerts, cine-conferences). For more infos: cinememoire.net
Tasks of the volunteers:
– organization of a European project connecting many European cinematheques (monitoring, contact with the partners, evaluation).
– assistance for the setting up of pedagogical projects and workshops.
– broadcasting of Cinémémoire cultural projects (ciné-concerts, ciné-conférences) by the constant contact with partners as well as the redaction of an EVS blog.
– indexation of audiovisual archives.
