NGO Koosa Youth Club

The Koosa Youth Club is looking for a motivated volunteer to work with all different kind of age groups and a creative mind to organize events.
NGO Koosa Youth Club (MTÜ Koosa Noorteklubi) is a little NGO with two workers – one youth- and cultural work organizer and one youth-worker. The main aim is to offer different opportunities for youngsters that they can voluntarily do and participate outside of school, family and working time.
Target group of the NGO are youngsters (7–26 years old). Youngsters who are mostly visiting our center are 7–10 and 15–24 years old. Daily there are about 15–20 youngsters visiting our center. NGO Koosa Noorteklubi is also offering different opportunities for the whole community. That’s why we have activities for kids, for youngsters, for old people and so on. In our youth center we have different activities every day, such as dancing, cooking, creative acitivities and so on. Our youth center is opened from Monday to Friday 2 pm til 6 pm.
Opening times are flexible and change according to events.
In Koosa we have lots of youngsters whose mother tongue is Russian, but they are also speaking Estonian. In the youth center we have table tennis, lots
of board games, two computers. In our building we have music class where is possible to learn piano.We also have brand-new drum set and electric guitar.
Activities involve community members from various age groups – kids, youngsters, adults and so on. Mostly the volunteer will be in youth center working together with a youth worker.
Youngsters who are mostly visiting the center are aged 7–10 and 15–24. Most of them are boys. In youth center we have lots of boardgames, table tennis and two computers. We have music class where is possible to learn piano and where is a brand-new drum set and electric
guitar. The volunteer will also be involved in the work of the local community center with organizing different events and helping out with different kind of projects.
The volunteer has an oppurtunity to create their own events or projects. NGO Koosa Noorteklubi is going to support the volunteer and his/her ideas as we can.
