Dear future Turkish EVS volunteers,

Federation of Youth Clubs of Armenia in cooperation with IYACA organization , Turkey / http://iyaca-evs.blogspot.am/ / is looking for 2 enthusiastic young people between 18-30 years old for its project in Yerevan, Armenia.
The project duration is 2 months- April 01, 2017 – May 31, 2017.

The role of 2 EVS volunteers in FYCA, Armenia / http://www.fyca.net / will be assisting the Receiving Organization /RO/ in its activities and projects.
The 2 volunteers from Turkey will give to the activities refreshment, Intercultural and European dimension, and creativity, new ideas and new initiatives as well new breathe.
The RO will encourage the volunteers to give new ideas and/or suggest any new activities that they would like to initiate with the local volunteers as well which will promote to their integration to the new community, will increase their self-esteem and will be a new learning opportunity and experience for them.

About the Hosting Organization Find EVS Vacancy

Federation of Youth Clubs in Armenia /FYCA/ works for the integration of young people into the country’s social life, encourage a responsible attitude towards the challenges, and support the creative thinking and the will for finding new ways of personal and social realization.
FYCA was founded on the 10th of November, 1999 by uniting several youth clubs. More than 100 regional and professional – oriented youth clubs from all over Armenia are united in FYCA.
Mission: unite the youth to raise the role and participation of young people in state’s political, economical and social life. Enlarge and develop the youth movement and create appropriate conditions for young people’s self-expression. Promote sustainable human development.


Volunteer's Tasks FindEVS Vacancy

The volunteer will have the opportunity to implement the following in RO;
– assisting to run the European Clubs;
– using various methods in the work with youth from disadvantaged backgrounds (rural areas, national minorities, refugees);
– participate in project development and fundraising;
– participate in different activities envisaged by different projects by the RO;
– perform other relevant administrative duties as assigned;
– taking part in the local and regional youth meetings and make contribution in
the development of youth work strategy of FYCA,
– assist in the development of youth club management, organizational
development, active participation and decision-making strategies of FYCA
