Amigos da Terra is looking for a Portuguese volunteer interested in enviromental topics
In Amigos da Terra Galicia Xuventude we are working to make society more respectful with the environment, a fairer society showing more solidarity. We are part of a bigger organisation Friends of the Earth International which has groups in 66 countries and 1 million members.
– Environmental Information Service:

– Campaigns: Collaboration and Participate in the draw-up and monitoring of the local, national and international environmental campaigns, in which the Association participates: Tree Day, Earth Day, Environmental Day
– Support in administrative tasks: participate in the translation/explanation of documents in other languages, in which the volunteer might be fluent.
– Entertainment activities: The hosting organisation carries out certain entertainment-educational activities ( visits to the country-side, trekking, sports, etc) in which the volunteer can participate Collaborate with other volunteers in the animation of leisure time groups for children and teenagers
– Preparation of workshops in the following areas: recycling, waste, compost, alternative energies…
– Collaborate with other volunteers in different campaigns of distribution of information about the Youth Programme: repartition of flyers, information talks, courses, …
